Watertown International Airport is a small local airport that serves the Watertown, Fort Drum, and Thousand Islands areas. It offers twice daily nonstop service through American Airlines to only one destination, Philadelphia. Parking at the airport is free for any length of travel. Car rental options at the airport are limited so expect to grab an Uber to an offsite rental agency. It takes roughly 25 minutes to travel from Watertown International Airport to Clayton.

For those visiting the area via private plane, the Ritchie Airfield is a FAA approved private turf airstrip located three miles south of the Village of Clayton on Rt 12. The owners and managers ask to please call before landing. The airstrip measures 2000 feet long by 100 feet wide with a wind indicator.

With the River 150 below you and centered directly over the shipping channel, the TI Bridge is an incredible outdoor activity to explore during your stay. Park at the Thousand Islands Bridge Welcome Center and walk over the Bridge while enjoying breathtaking views of the river. Construction began on the Bridge in 1937 as a CCC project and remains an impressive engineering project with its 800 foot suspension architecture.
